I would like to say a big thank-you to Chris Redman and his family, landlord of the New Swan in Atherstone Warwickshire, for a fantastic week-end. The Team Viking presentation night was held there and Chris and his family made us feel very welcolme and made sure we all had a brilliant night. Hi Sam, this Ian whom you were talking to at Scunthorpe on Saturday 29th Aug. Really pleased that you reached the a final and even more pleased that you beat Rod to win, let’s hope this is the way it goes from now.

I was with Trevor Whipp on Sunday when I learnt that you had won, he was pleased too. He was made up that you gave him a mention in your blog.

We intend to get a group together to ride over to Scunthorpe the next time your racing there (we all ride road bikes), this time we will be able to stay until the end. Unfortunately we had to get on the bus home. Please let me know when this is and I’ll make some arrangements.
